I’ve no idea where the 5 months went since I last posted a full-wedding blog has gone but it’s time to get cracking on ‘story-boarding’ a few of the amazing weddings that I’ve been privileged to capture over the course of the second half of 2014.
So, here we go……….all the way back to a scorching 26th July and the brilliant company of Rebecca and Will and their fabulous friends and family. The day starts at Rebecca’s family home in Cringleford where I was warmly welcomed by a fantastic group of bridesmaids and Rebecca’s lovely mum and dad, Julie and Robert. I love capturing the full wedding story and they don’t start much better than a scorching summer’s morning in such great company.
At Eaton Christ Church I later joined Will, the groomsmen and guests to await the arrival of Rebecca. Will had already had some ‘boy time’ at the local Unthank Arms and I was very grateful to have the excellent Lee Allison along to help cover that element of the day and to help me throughout. An emotional service was followed by a short drive down the A47 to the lovely Hockering House where Rebecca and Will had organised an absolutely stunning reception, first on the lawn of the house and then out into a beautifully decorated marquee in the meadow. Just a perfect setting for a relaxed summer wedding afternoon.
I’ll let the images hopefully take you through the story of their perfect day. So much colour, so much love and happiness and so much warmth – on this cold, dark, wet and wintry evening, it’s hard to believe these images are taken in this country! Oh well, I’ve plenty more summer goodness to bring to the blog over the course of the winter.
To sign off, a massive thank you to Rebecca and Will and their family and friends for being such a brilliant, warm, helpful and friendly group to be around. Going back through these images brings back some great memories and has raised more than a few smiles 🙂
