A break from wedding photographs up on the blog today – instead, a few images from a stunning evening ‘engagement’ or ‘pre-wedding’ shoot at one of my favourite spots on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.
Rachel and Tom are lovely people and are such a great advert for an engagement shoot that I had to share a few of their images. Like so many couples that I meet (and myself included!), Rachel and Tom are not too keen on being photographed and wanted to have an engagement shoot not only to get some nice relaxed images of themselves together but to also get used to having photographs taken of them.
As is always the case, within minutes of meeting Rachel and Tom for this shoot they were relaxing and enjoying a lovely walk without too much concern over what the camera (or man lying down in the undergrowth!) was doing. While I’m not the sort of person who would ever try to up-sell, some couples do value the opportunity to get used to being photographed and to get to know their photographer a little before their big day and shoots such as this one will definitely reap benefits when we meet up at Chaucer Barn for their wedding next year.
Of course, aside from the benefits mentioned above, Rachel and Tom now have some images of themselves relaxing together in a beautiful natural environment – I’m sure you’ll agree, they look fabulous together and have absolutely nothing to fear when the camera is pointed in their direction!
