WORSTEAD ESTATE WEDDING – NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

As the 2022 wedding season slowly fades away, I’m determined to share a few Norfolk weddings on my blog over the coming quieter months.

An ideal place to start is the absolutely stunning, early September, wedding of Chantelle & Jamie at the incredible new wedding venue the Woodyard at the Worsted Estate.

As a recommended photographer at the Worstead Estate, I was fortunate to be invited to their launch event last Autumn.  The Woodyard at the Worstead Estate is a beautiful new rural Norfolk wedding venue and their launch event really showcased all that this unique venue has to offer.

Set in beautiful Norfolk countryside, surrounded by acres of woodland, fields and a lake, it’s an absolute gem of a venue that offers a wonderful setting for all parts of a wedding day.  From prep in a tastefully decorated, neutral and naturally light house through to a party in a majestic Norfolk barn via ceremony and reception in equally stunning indoor and outdoor spaces it has it all.  As a Norfolk wedding photographer, I know how rare it is to find all these ingredients on one premises and it makes working as a photographer in such surroundings an absolute joy!

The icing on the cake is that the Worstead Estate weddings are run by the brilliant Emily of Hardesty Event Design. Having worked with Emily in her days at Hales Hall, I know that brides and grooms could not put their wedding planning in better hands.  Emily has a vast amount of experience in weddings, is extraordinarily hard working and has an incredible eye-for-detail along with great taste! It’s no wonder that Chantelle & Jamie trusted Emily with so much of their wedding planning and design.

The brief for Chantelle & Jamie’s wedding went along the lines of “if the White Company did weddings”…..  Oh boy did they nail that brief.  Hopefully the images below will support that but there is no question that the Woodyard at Worstead Estate looked incredible dressed in so much white from the 100s of candles to the Gypsophila, to the white bridesmaids dresses to the groomsmen in their tuxedos, this wedding absolutely oozed style!  Of course, having an absolutely gorgeous bride and groom also helped!

I’ll leave the images below to help tell the story of Chantelle & Jamie’s spectacular wedding day at the Worstead Estate but I can’t write about this wedding day without mentioning the goat!  Yes, the first time that I’ve seen a groom given a live goat (or lawnmower as I believe it is intended!) by his Best Man!  Chantelle’s face at the moment of this surprise announcement is worth tracking down in the images below 😂

I must also mention an absolute A-Team of Norfolk wedding suppliers below who helped Chantelle and Jamie realise their dream wedding.  As you’ll see, everything from the hair and make-up, to the dress, the cake, flowers, table-ware and signage, food, singing and sax were incredible! I could go on!

I’m next back at the Worsted Estate for what is currently due to be my first wedding of 2023 and cannot think of a better Norfolk wedding venue to start a new season – I can’t bloody wait!
