NEIL AND AMY SOUTHWOOD HALL WEDDING SNEAK PREVIEW – NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
7 months and 14 weddings on from my first attempt at wedding photography, I now find myself continuing to work into the winter months and having to face a very steep learning curve, dealing with the tricky lighting issues that you have to confront at this time of year. In preparation for a number of winter wedding bookings over the coming months, I jumped at the opportunity to join my friend and absolutely awesome photographer Luis Holden for a winter wedding at the beautiful Southwood Hall yesterday; Neil and Amy are a great couple and had very kindly agreed for me to join Luis to help capture their day.
Anyway, I’ll keep the story brief as I’ll definitely want to Blog some more images at a later date. Suffice to say, Neil and Amy enjoyed a wonderful wedding day surrounded by great friends and family and, considering the time of year, the weather was kind and provided an opportunity to get outside to grab some night portraits. With the ceremony finishing after darkness had fallen, we were in the realms of artificial light but, with Luis and I assisting each other, we managed to keep things moving and took Neil and Amy for a brisk walk around the stunning grounds at Southwood Hall. The shot below is the first we grabbed using what remained of the fast fading light of their fantastic wedding day. Thank you so much Neil and Amy for letting me join you for your wedding day and to Luis for once again being a hugely chilled and generous mentor. Thank you also to the wonderful staff at Southwood Hall for being so helpful and understanding throughout.
