Andy Davison - Norfolk Wedding Photographer

Nestled between 2 days of pretty hideous weather (even by UK summer standards!) we have Marianna and Will’s stunning wedding day on Saturday – a wedding planned to absolute perfection by Emily of  Your Norfolk Wedding and driven by the impeccable taste of Marianna and Will, this really was the most beautiful of weddings and, once again, utterly unique.

Starting with Marianna and her bridal party (including gorgeous Freddy who stole the show as you’ll see!) at Sprowston Manor, we enjoyed a calm and relaxing build up to the ceremony in a quiet corner of the hotel.  With the brilliant Gemma Holiday bridal hair stylist on hand, to say that the ladies looked completely stunning would be an understatement.  Of course, the flowers by Constance Rose also deserve a special mention – such an amazing finishing touch that brought together the overall white and green theme of the day.

After a relatively short time at Sprowston Manor we then headed off to join Will and the gathering family and friends at a private estate in nearby rural Norfolk.  With the church, a part of Will’s family estate, steeped in history and renovated for this first wedding on the premises in many, many years, this really was a very special day indeed.  With it’s whitewash walls and decorated in subtle shades the church looked incredible – in fact, just like an advert for the White Company!  I hope the images below give a feel for just how beautiful it looked.

After a lovely ceremony supported by beautiful music and singing from Will and Marianna’s friends we took a few moments for some photographs at the church before heading down the road to Will’s family home and a reception on the back lawn overlooking some exceptional Norfolk countryside and one or 2 rather exceptional creatures (see below!).  Will and Marianna have enjoyed a number of gatherings as part of their marriage and, although Saturday was the day that they officially became husband and wife, they now head off for a further ceremony and celebrations in Edinburgh.  Having captured a little of their preparation, ceremony and reception, it was time to bid them farewell after a few more shots of the 2 of them in the grounds of this most grand of homes.

Due to their busy lives and international travel, I didn’t get the chance to know Marianna and Will as well as I do many other couples which is of course a great shame.  However, what is obvious even after spending a very short time with them is that they are a great match and are both warm and fun-loving people who are very much in-love. It was again a genuine privilege to spend time in the company of such a wonderful gathering of people and to be asked to capture such a very special occasion in the lives of Marianna and Will.
