LORRAINE AND MATT CLEY WINDMILL WEDDING – NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
So, a few more images from Lorraine and Matt’s lovely and intimate Cley Windmill Wedding up on the North Norfolk Coast.
Last Friday saw my second wedding of 2014 and my first wedding shoot at the amazing Cley Windmill. Cley Windmill is an important landmark on this incredibly picturesque stretch of the North Norfolk Coast and I was absolutely delighted to be booked for Lorraine and Matt’s Spring wedding at this iconic venue. Although Cley Windmill is well suited to more intimate weddings, they don’t come much more private than Lorraine and Matt’s ceremony.
One of the great things that I’m discovering about wedding photography is that there is a huge amount of variety to be enjoyed within this single ‘specialisation’ and the combination of personalities, differing circumstances and backgrounds of brides and grooms and the full spectrum of scales and budgets means a unique challenge as the photographer on every occasion – of course, the weather also plays its part and Friday was no exception – as you can see, we got pretty lucky!
Anyway, although I’d not met with Lorraine and Matt prior to their wedding day, a quick walk around Cley and we were soon chatting away like old friends and hopefully the images reflect the ease with which we got along for their day – Lorraine and Matt were both so friendly and at ease with each other, it was impossible not to enjoy being around them and trying to capture their very obvious affection for each other.
So, over to a few images to tell the story of a short but very romantic wedding shoot on a wonderful Spring day. Happy days.
