Andy Davison - Chaucer Barn Wedding Photographer

“Hi Andy

Huge thanks for all the pictures! We cracked open a bottle of bubbles and went through them all last night. You really captured so many details of the day. And other than the posed shots, I didn’t even realise you were there! (No offence! I’m hoping in the photography world that’s taken as a compliment!).

I’ve sent the slideshow out to some friends and here is one reply from my friend April which I think sums it up:

OMG Lozza!! That is so beautiful. I almost cried all over again lol. Love the photographer and the way he put that together. So beautiful. That really is a lovely reflection on the day 😍😘😘

Anyway just wanted to say thank you and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you, although I’m sure your diary has no problem filling itself up :-).

And just to confirm safe receipt of the USB and what a lovely presentation case – thank you so much!

Thank you so so much! You’ve really captured the fun and magic of the day :-). This is why we booked you and you definitely haven’t disappointed! It’s so nice to sit back and re-live it all.

I also wanted to thank you for all the amazing shots of Buddy. You really captured his cheeky side, we love them. We love them all.

It’s a shame with weddings there isn’t repeat business as such as we would love the excuse to work with you again – we were so lucky in fact with all our “suppliers”. The Norfolk wedding network are a lovely group of people!

Thanks again, a million times over 🙂

All the very best,
Lauran, Rick & Buddy”

Lauran, Rick and son Buddy enjoyed a typically informal and relaxed Chaucer Barn wedding a couple of weeks ago – Chaucer Barn is one of those places where you immediately feel a sense of calm come over you and it seems to attract so many couples who want a chilled vibe on their wedding day, I absolutely love shooting there.  Lauran and Rick are a hugely fun and relaxed couple and, with Chaucer Barn acting as a home-from-home over their wedding weekend, I could tell that their day was going to be another very special one to capture. Despite the weather being less than ideal for much of the day, we were treated to a couple of hours of sunshine at just the right part of the day, allowing everyone to get outside and enjoy some rural Norfolk fresh air in the immaculate and stunning surroundings of the Chaucer Barn grounds.  One of the stars of the show on the day was Lauran’s nana who traveled to the wedding from her home in Spain at the age of 94.  Fully involved and clearly getting huge pleasure from being a part of the wedding, I’ve since heard that she managed to outstay many of the youngsters and was up until the very small hours (almost breakfast by the sounds of it!).  Son Buddy also played his part, reluctantly relinquishing his grip on the rings at just the right moment and melting lots of hearts with his cheeky grins. Before I sign off, a special mention to Amanda Steed Bridal Hair and Make-up for stunning work with Lauran and her bridesmaids – as you’ll see, they all looked absolutely beautiful for Lauran’s big day.
