All packages below can be tailored to provide a bespoke service that meets the needs of individual wedding day plans. Every wedding day is unique and I’m committed to ensuring the photography aspect of your day works perfectly for you.

*Packages are broken down into 4 hours for convenience.  Bookings of hours between the packages is possible and the fee will only be for the hours worked and not the higher package.  As you will see, the package prices are £400 apart and hence each hour between packages costs £100.  Therefore, for example, a 9-hour booking will cost £1550.

"When you consider the longevity of all the many wedding expenses, the photographs hold by far the most utility. Uniquely, their value increases with the passing of time."

albums

Wedding albums can be ordered after weddings with no specified time limit. Images are selected by couples and designed by me.

From £485
Wedding Books/Albums

Wedding albums are optional extras to the standard digital Packages I-III, but a discounted wedding album is included in Package IV.  Smaller duplicate albums for parents or gifts to friends and family can also be added to full-size album orders.

As I’m busy shooting and editing weddings from April until October each year, I tend to request that album design and orders are left until the quieter months when I can dedicate more time and attention to delivering a truly special product.

Although this does potentially delay delivery of the finished albums, it does allow couples the time to ‘live with’ their images for a time and to get a feel for those images which really have to be printed in the final album – sometimes it’s not the images that immediately catch the eye that will last the test of time – quite often hidden gems can emerge during repeat viewings of the gallery/USB of 100s of images and it’s those that we really want to include in a printed album.

Further details on album pricing and material options can be found below. If you have any outstanding questions regarding albums though, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Albums by Folio

My wedding albums are sourced from the UK company Folio Albums; Folio Albums provide an absolutely stunning range of handmade stylish and elegant Fine Art Books and Matted Albums.  A full price list and further information on the albums can be found under the Brochure link below.

Each album is initially designed by me based on the images that you’ve selected from your online gallery and then approved by you before ordering. Additional pages/spreads can of course be added. The best way to get a feel for the quality of these albums is to visit me at my studio where I'd be very happy to take you through options.

from couples:

KIND WORDS

"You were one of the greatest decisions we made when planning our day! We honestly cannot thank you enough for capturing every moment so perfectly! In addition, you felt like a guest. We loved having you there - you quickly became a friend."

- Shaun & Holly

"Well what can we say? We had the most amazing day. It was everything we both wanted, intimate, personal and relaxed. You played a huge role in making our day so special. You're such a lovely guy and were wonderful at making everyone feel relaxed and at ease. The photographs are absolutely stunning. They are so beautiful and we couldn't have wished for anything more. You have captured so many intimate and special moments that we can treasure forever. There were a few tears looking at them all and we can't wait to share them all with our family. All our family have commented about how you have really captured us and truly special moments. Thank you so much for everything,"

- Hannah & Peter

"I've been so busy looking through the photos over and over and over again I totally haven't emailed you to say THANK YOU!!!! We know they were going to be good but my goodness! Take a bow! You really grabbed everyone and everything exactly as it was. You outdid yourself! There are no words to thank you for being the cherry on the top of our perfect day. Please point me in the direction of any "client feedback" pages or rooftops to shout from! I hope you enjoyed your well deserved break with the family. Once my "back to earth with a bump" list has gotten significantly smaller we are going to get these photos sorted through properly and make albums etc. It deserves our full attention! We can't thank you enough."

- Victoria & Edd

"Thank you so much for everything you did on our wedding day - it really was the best day of our lives and we have loved re-living it through your amazing photographs. You fitted in to our wedding party perfectly and lots of our guests have commented on not only how beautiful the photographs are, but also what a nice guy you are and how relaxed you made everyone feel. We really cannot thank you enough and will enjoy looking at our photographs for years to come!"

- Stefan & Rebecca

"We just wanted to let you know that we have received and checked over the USB memory stick (and backed up in two places!). We actually received it about a week ago but have been far too busy enjoying and sharing them to actually let you know :-) Everyone loves them, including us. We've got a selection on Facebook, and have shared the link around friends and family - my mum is even talking about organising a formal viewing session for her village friends when she figures out how to display them on her smart TV! Our wedding was everything we hoped for on the day, and your photos have perfectly captured all the things we loved about it, so thank you once again for your pre-wedding reconnaissance, your energy on the day, and your speedy delivery of the photos."

- Oliver & Lucy

"Well we have looked through the photos for a third time today and they just keep getting better and better! We love them, thank you!! You have captured so much fun, love and laughter. I feel a little sad the wedding is officially over now! Thank you for the amazing photographs, we love them. Thank you for making the photo element of the day so fun, for capturing our fab Floyd and our adorable little ones so well. You made us all feel at ease the whole day. We absolutely made the right choice having you as our photographer"

- Anna & Barney

"Wow wow wow! Thank you so so soooooo much for our incredible photos! They capture the day so perfectly, we're absolutely over the moon! We're deep into honeymoon planning and preparations now but we definitely want some printed and so, as soon as we get back, we'll start deciding which ones!
The photos are already everywhere possible - our phones, screen savers, my desk! Thank you so much again, we really are over the moon with them!"

- Emma & Shane

"We love the photos, they perfectly document the day! Thank you so much for all your hard work!! I don’t even really know what to say as I am not sure how to put my feelings into words. But it was a joy to have you around on the day, and you will always be considered a really special part of our wedding. We are so grateful for all the beautiful photos and are currently thinking about when we can hire you again to take more photos!"

- Louise & Aaron

"The photos are, in one word, perfect. It's been so nice to look over them and re-live all these moments again, we've laughed so hard at some pictures and some have almost made us cry :) You were such a great wedding guest to have, as well as photographer, and so many people came and told us how kind and lovely you were! We will be thoroughly recommending you to everyone we know, and we're so grateful that you were with us on the day :) Thank you so much."

- Hana & Adam

"We cannot thank you enough for sharing our special day and capturing it the way you have. We are absolutely blown away by the shots you have captured and the moments we now get to relive. "

- Rebekah & Perry

FAQs

I don't like being photographed!

I know, not a question but I think that 90% of couples say this or similar to me ahead of their pre-wedding shoot or wedding day. 100% of couples say afterwards that they really enjoyed the photography element of their day and that they love how they look in the photographs. I am very relaxed and find that I'm able to quickly put couples at ease in front of my cameras. Even those that don't like being photographed (and I really know how you feel!) quickly become comfortable in front of my cameras and ultimately enjoy the experience and love their images.

How far do you book in advance and how many weddings do you shoot per year?

I take bookings up to 3 years in advance and tend to find that my diary is about 90% full for the next summer by the end of the preceding year. I tend to shoot just one wedding per week, and not on consecutive days, as I like to be able to give 100% to every wedding. Most years I take on 25 to 30 weddings. If I am unable to fulfil an enquiry, I will always provide names of other local photographers of a similar style who are available.

What is a pre-wedding shoot?

A pre-wedding or engagement shoot is an opportunity to visit a chosen local location for some relaxed portraits before your wedding. These shoots can be great for getting to know each other a little better and getting used to being photographed (not that there's anything to fear). They of course also deliver some great images of couples in their casual clothes, in a relaxed and informal setting and make excellent save-the-date cards and signing boards for wedding days.

How many images will be get and how long will they take to arrive?

I don't promise a fixed number of images because the documentary nature of my wedding photography is influenced by many factors such as weather and of course the size and length of each wedding day. I do routinely deliver approximately 600 images for a full wedding day, sometimes more. I edit my own images and this can take up to 6 weeks during the peak wedding season.

What time do you arrive for a wedding?

For full-day bookings, I plan to arrive approximately 3 hours before the ceremony. This allows for plenty of time to capture all of the preparations and growing excitement in a relaxed and calm way.

What time do you finish?

For a full-day booking, I usually stay for approximately one hour after the first dance. This allows time to document the feel of the evening party and will ensure that I'm around for any sunset photo opportunities.

Do you work alone?

I do work alone. I've found, over the 100s of weddings that I've photographed, that I'm able to provide a very comprehensive record of the day without needing a second photographer. However, if a second photographer was a priority, I am usually able to provide one for an additional fee.

What happens if it rains on my wedding day?

Then we create great images with rain! It rarely rains all day and I remain completely flexible and do my best to use any breaks in the weather to grab key images outside. I also always have a plan for bad weather and visit each venue in advance to look at indoor options.

Are our wedding photographs safe?

I record all images to 2 memory cards to ensure redundancy from shutter-press. All images are further backed up in duplicate at my studio with a third copy uploaded to cloud storage immediately after each wedding. The security for your images is my utmost priority.

Do you travel for weddings outside Norfolk?

Yes. It really depends on what other bookings I have around the time and whether I have time to comfortably make the return journey around local commitments. It's certainly worth enquiring if you are outside of Norfolk.

Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured including Public Liability cover.

What equipment do you use?

I use state-of-the-art, current generation professional camera, lens and flash equipment. I also carry back-up equipment in case of breakdown or damage.

What is the booking process?

I usually chat to couples prior to booking. This is often either at my studio near Norwich or on Skype/FaceTime for those who live outside of Norfolk. For couples wishing to book, I have a simple online booking process which involves signing a wedding photography contract and a deposit payment. These 2 items secure a booking. I operate a first-to-book policy when I receive concurrent enquiries for the same date.

Do we feed you at our wedding?

Yes! Ideally, particularly for full-day bookings - if I can eat while the couple are eating, it also means that I don't miss any big moments happening.

Do we get any black and white images?

Yes, but not every image. Some photographers will provide a bulk generic black and white conversion of every image. I only individually edit to black and white images that will work well in black and white. During summer months when most images are in natural light and when colour is in abundance, I'll deliver less black and white images than in the winter months. I do always include a colour edit of each black and white conversion and I'd say that I average about 10% of my images with a black and white version.

What happens if you're ill?

A very good question. I'm fortunate that I've rarely had a day off sick in my working life and I'd have to actually be incapacitated to not take some medication and fulfil my commitments. If I was incapacitated for any reason, I'd of course provide maximum notice, refund all money including the deposit and I'd do my utmost to find you a suitable replacement in terms of experience, approach, style and budget. I know 100s of photographers and, even in peak season, will almost certainly be able to find someone to capture your day for you. But let's not worry about that - I would be there for you!
