HALES HALL BARN WEDDING - NATALIE AND TOBY - NORWICH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

HALES HALL BARN WEDDING – NATALIE AND TOBY – NORWICH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

So today’s blog is for Natalie and Toby and a few shots from their absolutely beautiful late September wedding day at the majestic Hales Hall Barn, one of my favourite Norfolk wedding venues.

Toby’s dad Tony called me earlier in the year to see if I was available to shoot Toby and Natalie’s wedding day and, looking briefly at my diary and hearing that it was at Hales Hall, I quickly decided that I was!  Shortly after saying that I was available, I discovered that the reason I was free that weekend was that I’d come up trumps in the Rugby World Cup ticket lottery and had secured family tickets to watch the England v Wales match at Twickenham – well, having said that I was available, and not wishing to go back on my word, I sold on the tickets and decided that I’d save watching the match until later in the evening and enjoy capturing Toby and Natalie’s big day instead.  Anyway, now knowing the result of the England v Wales match, and having thoroughly enjoyed a cracking day with lovely people in a great part of Norfolk, I know that I made the right choice!

So, back to Natalie and Toby’s day.  Well it started with Natalie getting ready in the gorgeous cottage at Hales Hall Barn before heading down to Metfield for the wedding ceremony.  After a few group photographs it was back to Hales Hall Barn for a stunning autumn afternoon and evening in the gardens and barn with the trademark impeccable service and incredible food and drink again delivered by the dream wedding team at Hales Hall. Chris, the best man, did a cracking job of embarrassing Toby with some printed photographs and the evening got off to a flier with an extremely interactive DJ getting everyone on the dance-floor from the outset.  To the sound of a packed dance-floor, I eventually headed outside with Toby and Natalie to brave some very heavy dew and to make the most of the super-moon that was shining brightly in the sky.

And so to tell that short story in images, a few of a much larger selection below – thank you Natalie and Toby (and of course Tony) for having me along, making me so welcome and not telling me the rugby score before I left……what was a cracking day was rather tarnished when I sat down and watched the whole match late into the night but it wasn’t as bad as if I had travelled all the way to Twickenham for the same disappointment!

Feel free to leave your thoughts.
