It’s been a long while since I updated the blog but a weekend without a wedding has left me with a little more time so I thought I’d quickly share a few images from one of my very favourite wedding venues and one that seems to attract some of the most creative and fun couples to plan their wedding days there.  West Lexham Manor  is one of those places where you can feel your heartbeat slow and the stresses of daily life slide away from the moment you arrive.  It’s the sort of venue that encourages couples to express themselves in the way they decorate and use the plethora of beautiful locations and is the sort of location that invited guests will thank you forever for allowing them to be a part of your day and for introducing them to this most beautiful corner of Norfolk.

Back in June, George and Kath returned from their now home of Australia to join friends and relatives for a few days of celebrations that centred on an exchange of wedding vows under an enormous old oak tree on the Saturday afternoon. Staying in cottages, teepees and tree-houses, these 2 lovely brides enjoyed a very special few days at West Lexham relaxing together as they prepared for what would prove to be an incredible scorching summers day that ended with one enormous party to the tunes of the incomparable Joe Ringer Band.

It’s hard to imagine a more relaxing place to spend a few days with friends and the setting for George and Kath’s wedding was truly stunning.  Combined with some beautiful styling in the wonderfully rustic barn and delicious refreshments throughout the day, some enjoyed in and around the perfect outdoor pool, this really was another very special occasion to be asked to capture.  George and Kath were both so relaxed throughout the day and this was mirrored amongst so many friends and family truly embracing the opportunity to let their hair down, chill out and celebrate the commitment that these 2 very special ladies were making to each other.  It’s genuinely hard to imagine a more perfect wedding day for the style of photography that I seek to achieve and with so many fun and genuinely candid moments to capture this is just a fraction of the images delivered but hopefully enough to tell a little more about the story of Kath and George’s perfect wedding day at West Lexham Manor.

Other awesome wedding suppliers who helped make George and Kath’s day so very, very special were:

Make-up and hair by the brilliant Amelia Garwood.

Stunning food, drinks and service by Florentina.

Beautiful flowers by Swaffham Florist.

Epic evening party to The Joe Ringer Band.
