GABBIE AND JOSH VOEWOOD WEDDING – NORWICH AND NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
They are amazing!!! I have done no work this morning and just clicked through all of them. So many fantastic shots. I can’t describe how wonderful it is to have so many!! Thank you so much. They are everything I hoped. Everyone looks so good. The light is amazing. Every moment we wanted captured is in there.”
Where do I start with this amazing wedding?
Well, for a few reasons this was a very special day…..Gabbie and Josh were my first wedding booking based entirely on my images (ie not a referral or family or friend), they were my first couple to book an engagement shoot (meaning that we knew each other a little before their wedding day), they were getting married at the incredible North Norfolk venue of Voewood where I previously thoroughly enjoyed shooting with Phil Barnes at the amazing wedding of Brian and Victoria and it was my birthday (and the first time I’ve looked forward to heading off to work on a birthday!). I won’t mention that it was also the day that the England football team embarked on yet another woeful World Cup campaign (if you can call 2 losses and a draw a campaign!).
Anyway, Gabbie and Josh are truly great people and, with a fantastic circle of friends and family, they enjoyed what was yet another amazing wedding day. The weather held off, they married in the shade of a lovely tree at the bottom of the incredible gardens, played lawn games all afternoon, feasted in the amazing main hall, enjoyed a cracking set of speeches (the reactions say it all!) and danced the night away with a thumping party. Just what weddings should be all about in my view!
Well, Gabbie and Josh wanted my camera to predominantly dwell on the guests rather than on them (although I did drag them away for a few photographs!) so you’ll find a lot of candid images below that hopefully document who was there with them when they committed their futures together.
Yet another brilliant wedding to be a small part of and a real privilege to be asked to capture. I would wish Gabbie and Josh good luck for the future but they don’t need it – if there was ever a couple meant to be together and who will have a brilliant married life together, it’s these guys!
I’m definitely taking bookings over my birthday next year if working and being the birthday boy can be this much fun!
