EMILY AND PETER SPROWSTON MANOR WEDDING – NORWICH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
30th January 2016 saw my first wedding of 2016 and was in the very fine company or Emily and Peter and their beautiful little girl Holly.
A winter wedding the shoot was planned for 8 hours starting with a few minutes catching Emily’s final preparations with her mum, Holly and bridesmaids. Held all in one spot (my favourite kind of wedding day!) at the lovely Sprowston Manor in Norwich the 8 hours proved the perfect amount of time to cover all the key aspects of an action-packed but extremely relaxed and informal wedding day (again, the best kind of day as far as I’m concerned!).
Emily and Peter had invested a huge amount of time, love and attention-to-detail when planning their day and the winter wonderland theme with snowflake confetti and a stunning reception room decorated in candles and fairy lights was the perfect match for a cold and crisp January day. Aside from popping outside for just a few family photographs and a couple of shots of Emily and Peter together, the day was largely spent in the warm and opulent surroundings of Sprowston Manor and the stunningly decorated reception room.
After a cracking meal and speeches, the evening party kicked off in style with a beautiful first dance and then the always emotional bridal dance with dad – I see this increasingly at weddings and it’s now a firm favourite moment for me to capture when it happens.
Anyway, I hope the images do justice to a hugely memorable winter wedding day for Peter, Emily and Holly.
