CROMER FAMILY LIFESTYLE SHOOT – NORFOLK AND NORWICH FAMILY LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER
My love of photography really took off with the arrival of the digital photography era which also happened to coincide with the arrival of my first child – from that point on, I’ve been hooked and always particularly loved capturing images of my family as they grow up (even if they’ve occasionally grown rather tired of being photographed!). For this reason, family lifestyle photography is probably my preferred genre of photography and is the sort of work that I really cannot not get enough of.
Anyway, having used my own family as models on so many occasions, I was delighted to be asked to photograph a family on the beach (my favourite sort of photography and in the place that I love to spend time). This was the first time that I’ve taken a family out to be photographed having not met them before and I have to say I was a little apprehensive. Anyway, to keep a longish walk short (which included a rather lucky find!)…..the family were absolutely lovely and very forgiving of my inexperience. We had a great walk around the Cromer area finding plenty of diverse environments for some fun family portraits away from the crowds. Although we were denied a stunning sunset, the weather was warm and the light soft……there was also the promise of fish and chips at the end of the shoot which kept the younger models moving and on good form.
