CHAUCER BARN WEDDING – AMY AND BARRY – NORFOLK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Sorry it has taken us so long to send this message, but we’ve had a crazy few weeks since our wedding and wanted to take our time to write this message of thanks and gratitude.
Firstly, we would like to say how AMAZING our photos are, and we are not the only ones who think so. We’ve had countless messages from friends and family saying how great your photos are and how well that they captured our day. It gives us immense pleasure looking back through the photos from the day as each and every one of them brings back lovely and hilarious memories of our day, we can’t stop laughing as we look at them!
We know that it wasn’t easy for your to just capture candid photos of our day, but we really do appreciate you taking our wishes on board and not forcing us into lengthy shoots and time away from our guests. Your personality and presence on the day was impeccable as you happily snapped away in the background and blended in with the fun and we didn’t even realise you were there. Like the photos, everyone commented on how lovely you were and how well you conducted yourself during the day. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better!
From the bottom of both our hearts, thank you sooooooo much for capturing our day perfectly, for every laugh, every tear and every emotion was caught beautifully and is a perfect snapshot of that little moment in time. Our photos have already and will continue to provide us with great pleasure because they help us to relive every moment whenever we look at them!
We would hands down recommend you to anyone and everyone, by far the best wedding photographer I’ve seen! We even started trying to think of excuses to hire you again! We are hoping to come to Norfolk every year for our anniversary, and plan to book you up for a family photo shoot whilst we are there! We are thinking somewhere like Holkham for some beautiful pics. So you will be hearing from us again!
Thank you so much and we wish you all the best for the future as a wedding photographer, not that you need it!
All our love and thanks
Amy & Barry
(Mr & Mrs Sayers)”
At Chaucer Barn for a second week on the bounce, this this Saturday was Amy and Barry’s (and young Henry) turn to make this wonderfully relaxed and unique rural venue their own. Oh boy did that succeed!
Amy and Barry wanted completely candid capture of their wedding day without pause for formal group photographs or romantic portraits although I did manage to persuade them to take a moment away from the party for the one photograph above and to line up in a disorderly manner for some fun shots of the bridesmaids and friends (more below!). This is really my dream assignment in terms of wedding photography as it’s the candid moments that I so love to capture. I’m also the sort of photographer that likes to be forgotten and blend into the background – not only does that allow me to capture unguarded moments but it also ensures that the day flows naturally and the bride and groom get to spend maximum time with their families and friends and not posing for the camera. I think that the informal weddings that venues such as Chaucer Barn attract are ideally suited to that style of photography with plenty of room for guests to wander and have fun.
Saturday was a stunning summer day and with a ceremony in the beautiful gardens and the wedding breakfast and evening band under a stunning canopy-style marquee the scene was set for an absolutely corking wedding day. I can’t believe that Amy and Barry could have envisaged any more perfect a day than the one they had with their friends and families who had all travelled into the region for this most special of wedding days. There was so much to capture but hopefully the few images below will give a feel for the vibe of the day. Look out for the most delicious duck canapes that I’ve ever tasted (and looked incredible) and some of the best dad-dancing that I’ve ever seen……forget that, the best dad-dancing ever, the end!
So, I’ll sign off and leave Barry and Amy to enjoy a few moments from their incredible day while cracking on with editing the remainder 🙂
Thank you to Barry and Amy and their brilliant friends and family for making Saturday such a hugely fun and rewarding day to capture, it was a real blast!
