BURROWS FAMILY LIFESTYLE SHOOT IN SOUTHWOLD – NORFOLK LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

And, to wrap up the week, a brief return to the lovely Burrows family and some more images from their family lifestyle shoot at Southwold beach a couple of weekends ago (where did that 2 weeks go?!).

Taking photographs of my own family since the dawn of the digital photography era, family lifestyle shoots are probably my favourite type of shoot.  Of course, working with lovely friendly people in stunning locations with heaps of composition potential makes it all the more enjoyable and that was exactly the scenario when I joined 6 members of the Burrows Family in Southwold.

This particular shoot was a birthday present for mum Claire and, despite it being quite chilly and grey, we had a great morning walking along the pier and then promenade chatting and grabbing some images along the way.

As someone who is not that keen on being on the other side of the lens, I know it can be hard to immediately relax and feel at ease in front of a stranger with a camera.  On this occasion, after a quick chat and a warming coffee and cake in a lovely cafe on the pier, we were up and running in no time with some lovely relaxed photographs in the candid style that I so prefer.

Inevitably, there were a few posed shots along the way but, overall, hopefully in some shots I’ve managed to capture the individual personalities within this lovely family and the close relationships between them.  Needless to say, the shoot flew by in a flash and it was time to head back to Aylsham Like on so many shoots to date, I could have carried on for so much longer – as it was, this shoot ended up with there being over 200 edited images delivered!
