Andy Davison - Brasted's Wedding Photographer

Saturday not only saw Norwich beat Ipswich to a place in the Premiership Play-off final at Wembley – it also saw the brilliant wedding day of Jenny and Jonny at the beautiful Brasted’s!

The morning was spent at Jenny’s home in Mulbarton with the superb Emily of Love Moi Makeup helping the ladies look their absolute best for the fantastic day ahead.  Keeping tabs on the football score (well, at least dad was!) while quaffing a few bubbles to calm the ever-increasing levels of nervous energy the morning passed in a flash (as it always seems to!).

Once complete at Jenny’s, we headed over to the nearby Brasted’s – Brasted’s has a great reputation for the incredible level of customer service that they pride themselves on and I always look forward to working alongside Michael and his brilliant team.  It’s really important for photographers and venue staff to work seamlessly to deliver a day that runs smoothly and is in-keeping with what was envisaged by the bride and groom – working at Brasted’s is always a complete pleasure because you just know that every detail will be taken care of, with a smile, and with the bride and groom and their guests at the centre of everything, just as they should be.

Jenny and Jonny enjoyed great weather, fantastic company and a stunning setting for their wedding and reception.  With the ceremony held under blue skies in the beautiful gardens at Brasted’s and the evening reception close to a stunning rapeseed field for some essential sunset photographs, I was in photographer heaven.  Of course weddings are more about the people than the place and, again, this was a fantastic day full of tears and laughter with great family and friends.  As you’ll see below, the bridesmaids stole much of the show with their sense of fun and a mad time on the bouncy castle……which was allegedly booked for the children!

So, here we go, a few images from a fabulous late spring wedding at Brasted’s – Jenny and Jonny have only had time for a short break so I hope that was spent relaxing and reflecting on a great wedding day.  As always, thank you so much for having me, it was a real privilege.
