We have just got back from our honeymoon!
Thank you so much for everything and thank you so much for the sneak peek photos we love them, they are perfect.
Ami and James”
A day of many very special moments for James and Ami who were married at Thorpe St Andrew Church in Norwich on Friday…..you might need some tissues handy before viewing this little sneak peek of a very beautiful and emotional wedding day 😉
A blustery November morning commenced with the beautiful Ami, her bridesmaids and family getting ready at Caistor Hall – with wind and rain circling we feared the worse for the trip to church but it certainly didn’t dampen spirits in the hotel which was filled with the usual buzz of pre-wedding excitement that seems to always reach a climax around about the moment that dad gets to see his stunning daughter in her wedding dress for the first time…..gulp, my word, I appear to have some dust in my eyes….
As it happens, the rain fell at just the right moments and I joined the brilliant Gina Manning (who had spent some time that morning with James, his family and groomsmen as they got ready to head to church) at the Thorpe St Andrew Church under slowly clearing skies. After a lovely ceremony (where young Harlie the Page Boy provided some quality entertainment sprinting down an aisle mid-ceremony!) we took a few moments to grab some shots of Ami and James by the river before heading back to Caistor Hall on a fabulous London Bus.
And that’s of course where the serious partying started! A brilliant afternoon was had by all followed by some exceptional speeches and an evening of dancing. With Ami and James so relaxed and fun all day, we found time to create some colourful images (one above and one below) which I think will perhaps make some cracking wall art…….once they forget that they were in fact captured in a dark, damp, cold disused tennis court!
Finally, some thank yous. A big thank you to Gina Manning who not only takes brilliant photographs but is awesome company on a full day of shooting. And a very big thank you to Ami, James and all of their friends and family who helped make Gina and I feel so welcome and enabled us to capture the ebb and flow of Ami and James’ day so easily. A special shout out must of course go to Gary Harvey for persevering and being the best group photograph organiser that I’ve met yet! Cheers Gary, you were gold.
Over to the images……..congratulations guys and happy honeymoon 🙂
