“Hello Andy,

My goodness where do we begin?! From the moment we met you we were put at ease, not only from your wonderful studio with pictures on your walls but also by your professionalism.
In our first meeting you gave us some inspirational ideas for our day and offered to do a recce of our venue so we had every confidence in you from the very beginning.

We were amazed at how promptly the first few photos came out after the wedding (the next day!)
this was a great idea as it gave us a taste of how good they were and really got us excited to see them all!

The following week we received the preview video.. this was so unexpected and thoughtful – how lovely it was to use our first dance song which means a lot to us both (having spent a week in hospital following the wedding and feeling quite emotional I have to admit I balled my eyes out – Alice).

Only two weeks married and the photos are already done! We are completely blown away, you have captured our day beautifully and effortlessly, there was not a moment nor a guest that was missed. Everyone has given nothing but praise already and commented on how wonderful they are. There were things we didn’t even realise that were happening, it was like a wonderful photographic storybook really bringing the day back to life for us which through your photos we will be able to treasure in our memories for years to come.

We are SO pleased with them we can’t thank you enough.. it’s going to be very difficult for us to narrow down the “best ones” for an album when you made everyone look so damn beautiful in ALL of them!!

You should be very proud of your work Andy, we have been non-stop recommending you since and will continue to do so!.

Kindest regards,
Saul & Alice.
Aka, Mr and Mrs Whittaker 😊”

Another first for me this year was an opportunity to capture an incredible wedding day at the stunning Wood Farm Barn, Barnacre in Suffolk.  Wood Farm Barn is a bit of a hidden gem, nestled in a very rural corner of north Suffolk not far from the coast and surrounded by beautiful fields and woodland.  The barn and surrounding outbuildings and pond is again a real blank canvass for brides and grooms to make their own and to bring their own style to an incredibly rustic and very private setting.  Saul and Alice did that in spades, realising an incredibly stylish vintage feel to their wedding day with an amazing eye-for-detail and a genuine reflection of their personalities and refined tastes.  A reflection of how eye-catching and stunning Saul, Alice and their venue looked, their wedding was selected to be featured on the hugely popular and highly selective Love My Dress wedding blog. The blog is absolutely beautiful and covers an immense amount of inspirational detail for future brides and grooms to tap into as a resource for ideas for their own wedding days.  I’ll not repeat what’s over on the Love My Dress blog but it’s well worth a read if you have time and would like to know more about Alice and Saul’s wonderful day at Wood Farm Barn, Barnacre.

So, I’m going to share a bit of a storyboard of Saul and Alice’s day.  A day full or love and laughter and one of my wedding highlights of 2016 so far. The day started at Alice’s wonderful family home where she was getting ready with the Norfolk make-up and hairstylist dream-team of Emily of Love Moi Makeup and Amy of Flamingo Amy Hair and Make-up. Wonderful flowers were provided by the brilliant Pick-a-Lily Florists. The remainder of Saul and Alice’s wedding day was spent at Wood Farm Barn, Barnacre.  The day was incredibly relaxed with plenty of garden games to keep everyone entertained.  The brilliant Bill Downs then provided the soundtrack to a cracking evening party with lots of additional guests arriving at sunset to enjoy a wonderfully relaxed and fun evening in the barn and surrounding walled-garden.  I could go on but I’m going to let some images do the talking.  Suffice to say, a wonderful wedding day to be privileged to capture and one that I’m eager to repeat back at the amazing Wood Farm Barn, Barnacre.
